***This pick-up option is only available on our American Heritage Girls/Trail Life meeting nights. Meaning, if school is out, another pick-up date will be arranged.

Remember, chicken season runs from January through June.  You are welcome to jump in any time--for a total of 6 chickens.  Just know that we do not purchase chickens past early April, for early June processing. So if you wait until April to order, you're getting 6 chickens in June (25+ lbs of meat).  Please take your freezer space into consideration when you place your order. 

Remember that egg shares begin in March, pause after June, and pick back up for September and October.  If I have extra eggs available earlier and later in the year, they will absolutely be available for purchase--just ask!!  But chicken egg production is influenced by a variety of factors, including wide fluctuations in temperature, heat stress, and drought. Every year that I try to make predictions, they make a liar out of me!  So now that I'm limiting their availability, based on prior seasons, I'm hoping they'll just lay a whole bunch of eggs over the winter, and over the summer! 

Turkeys are only available in November.  If you want one for Christmas, you'll pick it up in November, at the same time you pick up your Thanksgiving turkey.  If you want turkeys throughout the year, same thing--you'll pick all of them up at the same time.  Please take your freezer space into consideration.
